Finished the demo character bust cast and now I am filling them all in with color. Here is the main character.

The Shop Keep is finished. Does he look familiar? He's an Easter egg in the demo.

Our indie game company shifted to a linear interactive visual novel due to our small team's limitations. We can now focus on a strong story with engaging characters, while also providing an interactive gaming experience. Excited to explore this new genre!

Sacrament Village. A mock up thumbnail of the entry level for the player with a few assets. Our developer will be constructing most of this level but we wanted to give you guys a general idea of what it may look like. Clouds going to be changed, lol :D

Here's our player character design. Looked at some post apocalyptic grunge fashion on Pinterest and put this outfit together. It was pretty tedious drawing the asymmetrical elements but in the end the player character is more unique than the NPCs :)

We finished up all the level artwork for the demo. Here are a few thumbnails! Currently we are working on the player character and npc artwork for rigging in the spine software. What do you guys think so far?

We ended up switching the style. We were very inspired by Spiritfarer and put our own style on it. I'm transferring most of this into a tile sheet to implement into the demo!

Moving project over to GMS2 and pivoting to platformer/visual novel hybrid. Here is a mock up of our game style exploration using parallax layers.

Working on a character bust sheet that will be a part of the demo. I generally do my artwork in clip studio paint and move it over to photoshop to put it together as a sheet.
